Hrist's Sword

Work has finally begun on my Dollfie Dream version of Hrist Valkyrie! This is going to be a rather slow process, build a part here, save $ for it there... No idea when it'll get complete but it's time to make a dream a reality!

Experimenting with CAD Printing via Shapeways, I was pleased at the condition the parts arrived, far better then I had expected! Little bit of fine tuning.
Well packed and shipped, after a few hours of buffing down and cleaning parts up to a smoother apperance, I highly recommend the polished version of WSF, saves tons of time! Sadly the blade was to large to fit in the tumblers so I had to use just WSF for that, The blade took hours of sanding and filling in steps, just when I thought it was almost smooth something on another side was slightly flawed... more sanding, more filling,
I used acrylic paint on the majority of it. I couldn't find a good gemstone color so I turned to enamel paints, I heard enamels eat away at WSF but I didn't have this problem using Testors. I'll have to experiment with that more on future prints.
